Are you sitting comfortably?

5 out of 5 stars

When I first started working from home, I went to a specialist shop in London and purchased what I was assured was the last word in ergonomically designed office chairs, particularly well-suited to people with back problems. The only thing was, I ended each day in considerable pain.

By chance, I met the people from Salli at a trade show in Sweden. Their saddle chair - think horse rather than bicycle saddle - makes you sit up straight and allows you to use the muscles of your inner thighs as well as your feet to take some of your body weight. The result is that I end most working days without too much pain, having done a combination of sitting on the saddle chair and standing at my sit/stand desk. It looks uncomfortable but I can assure you that it’s not.
