Safe-sip cover makes it easier to drink at home and out /about without spills

I got two of them at the time- several years ago. They are both still in use, and working well.

It's a stretchy silicone disk with a self-sealing hole.

You put it over a cup, tin, or glass (it works on heavier paper cups but not styrofoam or lightweight wax paper cups. You put a straw in, it holds the straw in place and prevents both spills and dribbles. You can use the cup whilst laying down, laying on your side, sitting... it seals the top for you.

Being a wheelchair user without a cup holder , I use it when we go out so I don't have to hold the cup or drink it all the way- I put the safe-sip on, and I can put the cup in my handbag without worrying.

There are colours, but I like the clear ones because they are not at all obvious. If you're like me, and cups/glasses tend to develop a mind of their own when in your hands, this simple tool helps you keep both your drink and your dignity.

It's also good for keeping insects and other stuff out of your drinks. It also would stop anyone else from putting something in your drink without you knowing.

It is easy to apply but needs a degree of dexterity and both hands- although getting someone else to put it on isn't difficult as it's simple to put on.

I've had mine for several years and they still work just fine. They can go in the microwave, refrigerator, freezer and dishwasher.

You can get them for between £5-£10 for two depending on where you look.
