Kymco Maxer Scooter

5 out of 5 stars

The Maxer is a scooter for those that want to overcome some of the limitations of having to use a mobility scooter. The solid tyres give a harder ride but are great for use on lawns and open grassland at properties such as National Trust and of course cannot be punctured which I have found to be a liability of using scooters.

Not wanting to be limited to approved paths which are usually tarmac, the 6.5" ground clearance allows the scooter to use most paths as well as open areas. The display is better than most scooters and includes time, temperature, speed and distance as well as the usual battery indicator.

Even if you only want to use this scooter about town these features allow you to navigate uneven pavements and larger steps than normal although, of course, these have to be taken with care and driven responsibly with regard to pedestrians etc. While narrower than many scooters I have found it to be stable and able to fit into most lifts in shopping centres.
