Handybar gives an extra boost to get out from/ into vehicle

5 out of 5 stars

The Handybar is a mobility/ safety aid for use in travel.

It fits into the "staple" on the inside of a car/van door to give you a stable, safe place to hold onto (and push off from) when getting out of a vehicle. It's a handle opposite the door the you put in place when needed.

It also has two emergency features- one to break a window, the other to cut a seat belt.

I've had this for about 5 years- its never been used for the safety features but it has been invaluable as a boost to get out of cars! It's not overly heavy (300g) so can be carried in a bag when using taxis, friend's cars, etc. It fits most but not all cars.

This is a reliable, solid item.
