Slicing that bagel

As a visually impaired person who's partial to a bagel I always had trouble slicing the bagel evenly and safely. I made a few searches on Amazon and found the Bagel Biter! This is a bagel guillotine specifically designed to slice your bagel evenly. It's basically a narrow rectangular box with a sleeve with a blade that fits over the box. All you do is place the bagel in the box and sit the sleeve over the top and gently but firmly push down.

Pluses: It is possible to very neatly slice your bagel in halve with out danger to fingers.

Negatives: If the bagel is too soft it is crushed by the blade or if the bagel isn't aligned then you can end up scalping the bagel...

However, on the hole, I would say it's worth it. As you gain experience of the product you get better!
