Alexa - Allows me to use voice to control my home.

5 out of 5 stars

With the purchase of additional bulbs, or automatic sockets, I have been able to use Alexa Echo+ to control both my lighting and other appliances just using my voice. Yes, it sometimes misunderstands me. However, I find that it is pretty accurate.

The costs can add up but if you add items slowly it’s not to bad. I pay about £7.99 for Amazon prime as well, giving me BBC Radio, RadioPlayer, Music, so it also allows me to tell it “Alexa . . Play BBC Radio Four” and it does it.

Each light build I’ve added is Philips Hue, both variable white, and a colour bulb, again “Alexa .. Living Room light Green” yet again it does it, or “Alexa . . Living Room light 50%” . . Down goes the intensity of that light.

As new items become “Alexa”, things should become easier if like me your dexterity is poor or have many other types of issues with our health.
