Great useful lead for Assistance Dog

4.7 out of 5 stars

I got the Grippy lead at Crufts after seeing it demonstrated. It was not specifically marketed as a disability product.

On my wheelchair I have a hook thing to loop my Assistance Dog's lead on the chair as the lead we started with was a long training lead with 1 inch metal rings, but it's not always convenient to use- especially those times when I am walking or using a different mobility device.

The Grippy lead allows me to easily lengthen or shorten the lead, it still works on the hook thing, it lets me also shorten the lead when we are walking (short distances with my stick or frame). It's very comfortable to use and gives me more options than the training lead did, and there are nice choices for colours.

Grippy Dog Lead

Out and about

Grippy Lead

£15 - £50

It's not marketed for assistance dogs, but it's really useful!

Have had it for 9 months. It has washed well, no problems at all even with daily use.

It was not the cheapest lead (it was £20) but its well made and very useful, so I feel it was a very good value.
